Skatestats - Every race, all in one place!

This website provides results for as many outdoor inline road skating (aka Rollerblading) events in North America as possible. Search for your last name and see your results.

You have to check this out! On July 19th I had the honour to meet Rich Ralph, an inliner that is skating across Canada for cancer research and awareness. It's a 10,000km skate! If you live along the Trans-Canada he should be rolling your way at some point, check out his website: www.seetheend.com and show your support!

July 2007 Update - As many have commented there is a lack of results being posted here for 2007 races. There are many excuses for this, most of them to do with me and family moving. Not to worry, skatestats is not dead! I'll be posting all the results this year, probably in one giant marathon effort fueled by highly caffeinated beverages. Thank you for all the supportive emails and encouragement to continue with this website!

Review - Wheel Anti-Reversing Device

The wheel anti-reversing device is an option that can be installed on most inline skates that prevents the wheel from rolling backwards but does not interfere with forward motion

Northshore Inline Marathon

For the first time in it's history the NSIM was less than dry. It started raining in the early morning and made the course a little more challenging. Chris Creveling was the overall winner in the Men's race and Jilleanne Rookard for the Women. Even with the rain there were relatively few major injuries (myself being one with a dislocated shoulder around mile 20). See full results here.

Wheel Anti-Reversing Device

An inventor named Bruce Honaker has created a new device that basically stops your wheels from rolling backwards. This may prove a benefit to beginning skaters, especially on hills! See a video demonstration of the product on the in our cool video section.

This technology is available for licensing by a qualified third party by contacting NewProducts@IdeaPlace.biz or visit the website for more information at www.inlineskatetech.com.

Bont announces dual durometer wheel

Bont today announced the availability of a new wheel which they have been working on for 2 years with MPC wheels. This Mtec wheel is unique in that it is a dual durometer wheel with two distinct layers of urethane. 62A (very soft!) inner and 84A (hard) on the outside. This is claimed to give the skater excellent grip and a great roll. Team Bont’s Luca Presti won the 500m on the track at the inline world championships in Italy using these wheels.
