Story of the race

The final A was facing Korea, Canada, Germany and United States. Korea leads the first laps. At the middle of the race, the canadians seems to go full gas. A bad exchange between Charles Hamelin and Marc-André Monette ruined their chance of gold medal while the fast Hyun-Soo Ahn of Korea was flying to the finish.

In the B final, Italy pleased their supporters winning the final ahead of France, Australia and Japan.
