Week 19 to 26 March
Much rain in Nantes, so I recuparated in prevision of the championship the next week end.
Monday : Musculation
Tuesday : 50 min roller on the road
Wednesday : break
Thursday : Spinning 45min with (1min/1min) intervals
Friday : 30min roller, 3xflyed 200m
Saturday : 5km time trial
Sunday : 70km
5km time trial:I started in the firsts on a very wet road. After having setting tempo on the most difficult part of the circuit on the two first km, I gave everything until the finish line. I had to wait the last skaters to know if I realize a good performance. I finish 3sec ahead of Alexis Contin (Levallois), the title defender.
70 km :After having done the first 10km slowly, the peloton started to move. After an attack, we are three to continue on this attack: Julien Levrard (Levallois), Thomas Desplanches (ASTA) and myself. Quickly, we got a gap because the peloton do not chase. 30km to go to the finish, we are only two, Thomas Desplanches having difficulty to follow the pace. I won on the sprint ahead of Julien Levrard after 55km of breakaway. Pascal Briand (Lamballe) finish third in a group of four.
