Shani Davis won the world allround championships. This championships has been marked by the world records set in the 1 500m by american Shani Davis (1:42.68) and at the 10 000m by Sven Kramer of Netherlands (12:51.60). Chad Hedrick who was in good position to win has been disqualified in the 10 000m because of a bad change from inner to outer lane.
