Canadians are taking vacances
National coach Guy Thibault has adopted a very special strategy for his skaters. Instead to traverse the entire world for competitions last three months, short track canadians have rested. The only competition before Torino is the stop at Lake Placid. According to Mathieu Turcotte, this method could be very good:
« Training allow us to reach higher levels. We do many race simulations to increase our speed and to improve our passing » Moreover, the girls, just like the guys remained in Quebec for training and involved themselves with the relay Olympic champions. Not bad like training!
